Sony VAIO X Series, the world's slimmest and lightest notebook
Sony has just launched Sony VAIO X Series Notebook in its range which Sony claimed as the world's slimmest and lightest notebook that weights 1.6 pounds and just about a half-inch thin.
Sony VAIO X Series comes with 2GHz Intel Processor, Genuine Windows 7, 11.1" windscreen display, it measures 12.4" x 9.2" x 0.5", 2GB RAM, available 128GB Solid State Drive, standard and 14-hours large battery, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet and a card reader, plus 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth, plus built in 3G and GPS.

Sony VAIO X Series starts for $1,299, there is also a signature model which comes in gold and has a 128GB SSD, this model will retail for $1,500.
