Samsung mobile phone storms South Korea

Samsung have just announced its Korea counterpart - the SCH-W880 or Anycall AMOLED 12 MP as its mundane name goes, as we know South Korea is a market that's entirely different from Europe or the Americas. the SCH-W880 is the world's first 12 megapixel cameraphone with 3x optical zoom.


the SCH-W880 is not a smartphone, but boasts a 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen in resolution 800 x 480 with TouchWiz UI to display high quality screen on your hand, 4GB internal memory. As you will see the SCH-W880 is very impressive, capable and promising cameraphone which really deserves a lot of attention. Also it has 12 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and features fast image saving for next shot; so users can move to next shot within around 2 seconds, xenon power LED flashes, variable aperture shot in auto-focus and macro, 720p@30fps video recording.



Another nice features are 3G connectivity, bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, T-DMB TV Tuner, microSD card slot, microUSB connectivity and 1100mAh Li-lon battery.



Finally, I'm gonna drop you guys this question, should we consider the SCH-W880 as a mobile phone with camera or a digital camera with phone function?
